2.1 By accessing and using any part of this site, the visitor/consumer ("you") agrees with Old Macdonalds Educational Farm Park to be bound by these terms. 5. OFFER AND ACCEPTANCE - GROUP BOOKINGS

A binding contract is formed between you and Old Macdonalds Educational Farm Park when you receive confirmation of a group booking from us by e-mail, telephone or other agreed means that your order has been accepted.

6. DEPOSITS - BIRTHDAY PARTIES

Birthday parties can only be booked on line and a cancellation fee of 25% of the cost will be incurred once the booking has been made, increasing to 50% of the sum if the cancellation is within 7 days of the event. The farm shall endeavour to enable changes of dates in extremis and a sum of £30 for the hire of the room that is included in the cost of birthday parties is non refundable in the event of party dates being changed by the organizer once a booking is made. These terms and conditions do not apply if the farm is closed for the day of the party for any reason in which case the party organizer may select other dates appropriate for them. The Farm is not responsible for any costs incurred by party organizers for such changes which will only be made when it is unsafe for the farm to open or when other external factors have caused the farm to close.

7. PRICES

Old Macdonalds Educational Farm Park prices are in Great Britain Pounds Sterling. Old Macdonalds Educational Farm Park reserve the right to change any advertised prices at any time.

8. PAYMENTS

We accept cash, and personal cheques are accepted on production of a valid cheque guarantee card for amounts exceeding £10. We currently do not accept payment by credit cards.

9. YOUR PERSONAL DETAILS

Old Macdonalds Educational Farm Park has a 'privacy statement' for all clients. All personal details that you give us are securely stored. We do not supply or sell customers details to any outside organisation. We will endeavour to take all reasonable care, in so far as it is possible to do so, to keep all details of your order and payment secure, but, in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering.

Terms & Conditions for online tickets

1. All those purchasing on line tickets are deemed to have read and agreed with the Legal Information shown on this website. Information on this page is specifically relevant to on line bookings.
2. All tickets pre booked must be used on the day for which they are purchased. In the event that the farm is closed on the day for which the tickets have been purchased, they can be used on any other day that the farm is open.
3. No refunds are possible for any reason.
4. All visitors agree to follow the rules of the farm which are shown below and also any additional rules that are on display at the farm, all such rules being implemented to ensure visitor safety and the wellbeing of our livestock.
5. Whilst Old Macdonald’s Farm and its employees attempt to ensure the complete safety of all our visitors, it is the responsibility of parents/guardians to supervise and accompany children on site with a ratio of at least one adult to every 5 children over 3, and one adult to every three children under 3.
6. The parents/guardians must:

  • Remain within the farm premises at all times and observe their children to ensure they are safe and well:
  • Ensure children understand the safety instructions around the farm including on play equipment and that they obey the guidance on hand washing and personal hygiene;
  • Know where their child is and make sure their child knows where they are.

7. Parents/guardians know their child’s capabilities and behaviour best and so should ensure an appropriate level of supervision to reflect this.
8. All children may only use the Farm or any part of the farm when accompanied by a responsible adult.
9. Adults may not visit the farm without children unless for a pre arranged check on behalf of a school or in advance of booking a party.
10. Strictly no smoking in any part of the farm premises, indoors or outdoors.
11. Children and adults are discouraged from chewing gum.
12. Parents/guardians must make sure that all the requirements on clothing and footwear must be followed.
13. Jewellery is worn at your own risk and please make sure children with spectacles take particular care.
14. Management reserve the right to refuse entry.
15. All height and age restrictions must be followed.
16. Not all equipment and/or rides will be available at all times and management reserves the right to close off areas of the farm for essential work.
17. Abusive and aggressive behaviour by adults or children will not be tolerated towards staff or other visitors to the farm and we reserve the right to implement and enforce total bans.
18. Old Macdonald’s Farm encourages children to play, run free and explore the farm in a safe and stimulating environment. There are inherent risks that are always associated with children playing and having fun including being exposed to moderate physical activity, tripping, falling and bumping into fixed objects or other children.

Old Macdonald’s Farm has taken every reasonable step to control these risks through the design, maintenance and operation of this facility. However it is impossible to eliminate such risks completely and parents and guardians by entering the farm are deemed to have accepted this level of risk.
