Old Macdonalds Farm offers a fantastic educational programme for children to experience and learn about life on a farm. We believe that our hands on approach to meeting the animals supervised by friendly staff is the best way to find out about our animals and how they live. We have wide range of well cared for livestock including many rare breeds, plus a range of study aids so there is plenty to see touch and do!
Situated in the Essex countryside near South Weald and Saint Vincents Hamlet close to the M25 junction 28, we are easily accessible for visiting schools in the surrounding area and beyond. We are fully committed to offering the best facilities including:

GROUP VISITS
For celebrating special occasions we also have great days out for general group visits who are not so focused on the educational side of things. So if you just want to bring your family & friends to spend some time with our farm yard animals and enjoy our amusement rides the we'd love to see you!
BIRTHDAY PARTIES
(Minimum booking 10 children)
Parties should be fun not hard work! Let us prepare your children's birthday party.
Superb value at £10.00 per child, their party will include the following:
- Admission to the Farm
- Free entry for one adult per 3 paying children (Free waiting area for other Mums & Dads)
- A £5.00 gift shop voucher for the Birthday child
- Free access to the soft play area
- A birthday meal with drinks and ice cream
- A goody bag for every paying child
- A token for a ride on the amusements
- Invitation cards for guests

On arrival we will ask the party what they would like from our menu.
Birthday menu includes:
- Chicken Nuggets & Chips
- Fish Fingers & Chips
- Sausages & Chips
- Burger & Chips
- Soft drinks
- Ice cream
When all guests have arrived a member of our staff will begin the tour of our Farm to meet the animals. The Birthday Child is given a 'Meet the animals experience'. After the tour we 'WASH OUR HANDS' before we tuck into the birthday meal, drinks, hats, balloons and party bags are provided.
Please note we do not provide the birthday cake.
