Earlier on in the year, we sadly lost 2 of our male Rheas, this meaning that the farm would now only have one female Rhea. Old MacDonald and keepers at the farm were very sad by this news and decided that the lone female needed some company. To our excitement, our lovely friends at Capel Manor, Enfield (Educational College who specialise in Animal Care) contacted the farm with news that they may have some replacement Rheas.
On 16/11/11, Old MacDonald’s Farm welcomed ‘Kim’ (male) and ‘Aggie’ (female) both born in December 2009, to their new home with existing female ‘Dora’. All 3 Rheas have settled in perfectly and it’s nice to see ‘Dora’ happy again with her new friends.
From the 21st -25th November, entrance for every person visiting the farm will be an amazing £2.99 when you book your tickets online! Go to the ‘Book Online’ page to book your tickets now! Its an offer you can’t resist! For more info email firstname.lastname@example.org
