SHEEP SHEARING

Sunday, April 24th, 2011

It’s that time of year again where all our woolly friends have their winter coats sheared, ready for the hot and sunny months ahead.

As we are an educational farm park, this is a perfect opportunity for you and your family to watch and learn first hand about the sheep shearing process and life on the farm.

Sheep shearing events fall on, Bank Holidays weekends in April and May (Sundays and Mondays).

Jersey Cow is in Town

Saturday, April 9th, 2011

On 8/4/2011 Old MacDonald’s Farm welcomed ‘Judith’ the friendly Jersey Cow! Judith can be found staring over the M25 in our spacious Essex Fields, watching the traffic drive slowly by and celebrating the fact that, being a cow, she cannot drive and does not need to join the queues.

However you can come and see Judith and her new pals here at the farm any and every day, enjoy the sunny weather, and have a great value for money day out.
