Mum and baby

On the morning of Friday 6th August the suitably named ‘Donkey Donkey’ blessed us with a baby male foal. ‘Donkey Donkey’ is the sister of ‘Emma’ the donkey, who earlier this year had a female foal named ‘Dolly’ by Katie McKeown who won one of our many Facebook competitions March 19th 2010 .

Mother and baby are both doing very well and have been moved from the field with the rest of the donkeys, allowing them to spend some time together and giving our visitors a chance to get a closer look.
