new arrivals at the farm

The Boys are in town!

Old MacDonald’s award winning petting farm in Essex had the great fortune of rehoming 5 male llamas Thursday evening, the 13th May. The “boys” are named Hugo, Elliot, Tarzan, Motzart and Manuel. Manuel is the leader of the pack despite being the smallest! They are now happy residents in Old MacDonald’s petting farm’s central paddock. You can see in our picture they are using the hill as their look out point.

The previous owners contacted Old MacDonald’s petting farm about the possibility of re-homing them as they are moving abroad and would no longer be able to keep them.

Old MacDonald is really pleased to see the new arrivals the the farm are settling in really well.

Old MacDonald was also lucky enough to have a reporter from the Brentwood Gazette visit the Essex petting farm to write a feature on the llamas. You can read this article which appeared in the Wednesday 26th May edition of the Gazette.
