Old Macdonald has noticed over recent months that many people want to travel from all around Britain and Europe to come and visit us here at your favourite value for money farm park. Now we have made arrangements so that you can visit us and get a great value room in which you and your family can stay.
Unfortunately this is something we cannot offer here at the farm. There is limited space in the Pig Sties and the Sheep are very fussy with whom they sleep, but two of Britain’s leading hotels, both being convenient for here at the farm, have linked with us to offer you special breaks. Our photo above shows two of our goats in their luxury accomodation provided at Chez Old Macdonald, not either of the two options below!
The first of these is Marriott Hotels, and if you visit their website by clicking on to http://www.marriott.co.uk/hotels/hotel-deals/lonwa-waltham-abbey-marriott-hotel/?offerInfo=386395 you can get all the information you need. This Marriott Hotel, part of a top quality group of hotels, is in Waltham Abbey, just round the M25 and a beautiful place to visit too with the old Abbey building with the grave of King Harold II, last Saxon king of England, so there is a wonderful history to the area.
The second hotel is Holiday Inn, Brentwood, who are just off the M25 at junction 28 and a stone’s throw from us here at the farm; not that we throw stones at each other you understand. This hotel is conveniently sited for visiting London, the East of England being on the A12 too, or all points south and north. No dead kings in Brentwood but lots to see and do and great customer comfort in this top class establishment. The hotel is in Brook Street, Brentwood, and their telephone is 0870 400 9012.
So there you are. Two local top class hotels working with us here at Old Macdonald’s Farm to provide great family breaks in Britain. Bed, breakfast and a wonderful day out. Perfect.

(This comment is about the Animal Experience)
Hi there Joseph,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. It’s been a hectic few days.
Yes, Karolina enjoyed herself at the Farm. She particularly enjoyed the piglets, walking Larry the goat and walking with Annie the owl on her arm. Darren was a true gent and very patient!
I should also say that lunch was very tasty; it was nice to get proper baked potatoes instead of just microwaved ones like you find in most places!
On the whole it was great fun and a nice day out. Pass my thanks on to Darren again, and I hope you have a successful, busy summer at the Farm.
Good afternoon
I felt I had to email you to say how wonderful our afternoon was today when we visited your farm. It has been a little while since we last visited but we could not believe all the wonderful activities and attractions you have added. Our two children loved being able to run and look and go on so many different things. Even our baby in his pushchair was able to be involved in everything as there were no restrictions with the pushchair.
Once again we would like to say thank you and well done to all involved and we hope to see you very soon.
Best regards
The Tarrant Family
