Old Macdonald would like to apologise to all his valued visitors over Easter who have been persuaded by our popular Meerkat Family to purchase cheap car insurance whilst they were at the farm. Old Macdonald wishes to make it clear that this behaviour is not acceptable to him and whilst he does offer a great value day out for all the family he does not offer to cover motor vehicles with value insurance deals.

Also, Old Macdonald asks you all when you are parking your cars not to pay the Goats to mind the vehicles in the car park. He has found out that the Goats are asking for a fiver to watch your car whilst you are in the farm, and making threateningly butting movements towards you if you refuse. Do not pay these goats any money for two main reasons. First of all because it will only encourage this anti social action if you reward them, and second because they will only eat the cash in any case! They will also probably eat your car tyres.

Therefore he suggests that you visit the farm, park free, feed the goats the proper goat food, and admire the Meerkats but do not Compare Them!

Old Macdonald has been busy with his Brownie Camera and thought you might like to see some of the results from the Easter School holidays and early Spring here at the farm. He was particularly keen on you viewing our new outdoor play equipment, the brand new inflatable slide with special safety features for extra security for the children whilst they hurtle to the bottom, and also our Combine Harvester play centre with the new sandpit.

Whilst you are looking at these, we show you one of our old goats having a giggle at the frolicking children and their parents, and also the crowds around the construction site enjoying the sunny weather that we get absolutely every day here in Brentwood (well perhaps Old Macdonald is stretching a point there!).

Meanwhile, whilst he was out looking after our wonderful Caterpillar Coaster he was amazed to learn for how many of our guests this was their first ever time on a Roller Coaster, so if your child has never ridden a Big Dipper in their life (or in fact if you have not either) what better place could you find for your first time ever than here at Old Macdonald’s Farm?
