In addition to the requests from schools and from the public to visit our farm, which we are always delighted to accommodate, Old Macdonald’s Farm also provides a first class facility for filming. TV companies, film groups, advertisers and stills photographers are welcome at the farm where they can use our many props, landscape views and of course, under supervision from our qualified staff, our animals too. On this page we show some of the many different items we have available for them to use. Above are a selection of our life size models, including realistic copies of our cattle and some fun figures that you will find dotted around the farm. Also some of the views of features around the farm, including the water tower, the goat bridge, and of course the amazing and unique Tractorpult. These are very popular with companies who wish to use them as backdrops. As you can see, up and coming fashion photographer Kristina Mack used the farm to great effect for her photo portfolio with a much more photogenic model.
Now we have a selection of our historic tractors, including the Victorian Tractor and Thrasher plus a range from the Fordson Company who were based in Dagenham for many years, just down the road.
Our historic farm artefacts which include 200 year old hand ploughs, wagon wheels and a wide range of Seed Drills dating back to Victorian times are in first class condition and available for use.
We have animated shows that can also be used for general shots or themed for models, for instance, and also included in this is an antique Model T Ford Truck dating back to 1925.
Finally we have a range of animals here, including farm yard favourites such as cows, sheep, pigs, goats, chickens and geese, plus unusual animals such as Alpacas, Meerkats, Wallabies, Otters, Rheas and Reindeer.
Our professionalism is second to none, so for your farmyard filming come to Old Macdonald’s Farm in Weald Road, Brentwood, CM14 5AY, just outside London.

A good idea, and we will certainly take this up
