Over 500 people entered the competition to name our Reindeers making our choice oh so difficult but finally Old Macdonald has made up his mind, and the three reindeer Calves have been named Plum, Dancer and Faith. This means that three lucky families win free annual passes to Old Macdonald’s Farm, and everyone else who sent us blogs will receive Special Value Passes for a year.
The Reindeer Calves are just a small part of our Spring celebrations with baby lambs gambolling in the fields (they prefer Bingo to the National Lottery at present) goat kids, baby rabbits and ducklings too.
By the way, did you know that Reindeer Calves can run quicker than people when they are only one day old, so Santa will have to get his skates on if he wants to hitch up his herd next Xmas Eve. He better start training now.
Below you can see the entries made here via the website, and there were 500 others who filled their forms in at the Farm. We thank everyone who took the time and trouble to enter this fun competition.

My suggestions are Tinsel and Cracker
Our vote goes to “Plum” and “Pudding”
I think the names should be Dancer and Prancer
I pick Snowdrop for the White Reindeer Calf
I think Holly, Berry and Mistletoe for the white reindeer
I nominate Faith, Hope and Love, of which the greatest is Love!
I suggest Arsenal, Tottenham and Westham.
I want to name them after my solicitors, so select Connem, Grabbit and Runn.
i think rupert, honey and star. Quick message for Chloe’s Mum from Old Macdonald. Can you please let us have your email address as the one we have does not work? Thank you.
I nominate Snowy, Holly and Laurel
bobby,kelly and owen
after our heroes
kely holmes(olympic 2 golds), bobby moore(england world cup 1966)and michael owen coz he is just gorgeous.
I think Bailey is a lovely name for a lovely baby reindeer xx
