Treat Mum on Mother’s Day at Old Macdonald’s Farm

lambamdmum.jpgspring-lamb-208.jpgCome on children, what are you doing for your Mum for Mother’s Day? If you didn’t know it is today, March 2nd, but if you had forgotten we can help because if you persuade your family to bring you here to Old Macdonald’s Farm, you can take Mum to our café and ask our staff there for her free cup of well deserved Tea!  Plus of course, you can see our own Mums on the farm and their new born babies at the same time. The Mum shown, Cassie the Jacob’s Sheep, gave birth to the first lamb of Spring and is shown above with her baby, born on February 3rd and waiting for you to name her. We also have a brand new range of cuddly toys in the gift shop to which you can treat your Mum. Irresistible! And your mum is worth it too.

There are lots of new born babies here in Brentwood, including lambs, goat kids, piglets, chicks and ducklings plus more unusual new arrivals such as the Wallaby Joey and the Meerkat Pups. And you will get to meet all our normal farm favourites and can enjoy all the fun of our farm with the children’s play areas and outdoor rides that are all part of your entry fee. Old Macdonald’s Farm is now one of the major leisure attractions in the area and people come from all over East London, East Anglia and Essex to visit us, and because we are so easy to find, using the M25 and A12 junction, that you can have a short journey from Kent, Hertfordshire and in fact anywhere.

Have a quick glance at our What’s New Pages and you will learn about our Reindeer Calves, named by our visitors and readers of this website, our Otters, the Kune Kune Pigs and much more, but the best way to find out about Old Macdonald’s Farm is to visit us.

So Mums, you can relax in the café with your cup of tea, courtesy of us, whilst your children have a wonderful time out and about in our Leisure Farm, meeting the animals or enjoying the free fun available to all. And a message for Dads, look out for your free chances nearer Father’s Day in June.
